POSITION SUMMARY:

Work with individuals andgroups to promote optimum mental health. Help individuals deal with family, parenting, andmarital problems; stress management; problems with self-esteem; andissues associated with aging, mental andemotional health.  Occasionally may work with Jiahui medical team in managing client’s addictions, substance abuseandsevere mental health issues.

ESSENTIAL TASK:
1 ） Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients‘ treatment.
2 ） Encourage clients to express their feelings anddiscuss what is happening in their lives, andhelp them to develop insight intothemselves andtheir relationships.
3 ） Guide clients in the development of skills andstrategies fordealing with their problems.
4 ） Prepare andmaintain all required treatment records andreports. Collect information about clients through interviews, observation, andtests.
5 ） Evaluate clients‘ physical ormental condition based on review of client information.
6 ） Counsel clients, families andpatients, individually andin group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, andmaking changes.
7 ） Act as client advocates in order to coordinate required services orto resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
8 ） Develop andimplement treatment plans based on clinical evidence, personal clinical experience andknowledge.
9 ） Collaborate with nutritionist, fitness professional, health coach andother clinical staff members to perform clinical assessments, develop patient specific treatment plans.
10 ） Refer patients, clients, orfamily members to Jiahui‘s medical network as necessary.
11 ） Modify treatment activities andapproaches as needed in order to comply with changes in clients‘ status.
12 ） Collaborate with client’s psychiatrist to monitorclients‘ useof medications.
13 ） Learn about new developments in their field by reading professional literature, attending courses andseminars, andestablishing andmaintaining contact with other social service agencies.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
1 ） Support the development of Jiahui wellness program.
2 ） Supervise other counselors when necessary.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, andLICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
1 ） masterdegree of clinical psychology
2 ） Minimum 3 years of mental health clinical practice that includes children andadolescents developmental counseling, family andsocial relationship counseling, EAP, stress management, anxiety andbehavioral modifications
3 ） Efficient useof Word, Excel, PPT, Wechat, andother general office operation programs.
4 ） Great organizational skills andteamwork attitude
